Sir William Wallace, d 1305

Sir William Wallace is acknowledged as Scotland’s National Hero for his struggle to obtain freedom for Scotland and her people in the late 13th and early 14th centuries. He gave his life to the cause of liberty. Few like him have every lived and  he should be remembered and honored by all who treasure and hope for freedom from tyranny. These photos illustrate some of the sites in Scotland which honor the memory and achievements of the foremost patriot of his time, and perhaps of all time. All were taken by me and I hold the copyright. Enjoy!
