1.  William Hadaway1 was born on 9 Nov 1813 in Bryant’s District, Wilkes County, Georgia.24 He died on 11 Jan 1899 at the age of 86 in Cobb County, Georgia.57 He was buried circa 12 Jan 1899 at County Line Methodist Church Cemetery in Acworth, Cobb County, Georgia.8

William Hadaway and Nicey C. Crow were married on 13 Nov 1834 in probably Hall County, Georgia.9 Nicey C. Crow10 was born on 17 Mar 1814.11 She died on 22 Feb 1843 at the age of 28.12

William Hadaway and Nicey C. Crow had the following children:

+3         ii.   Samuel J. Hadaway, born 1837, Georgia; married Isabella Elizabeth Yarbrough, 1857–1858, probably Paulding County, Georgia; died 23 Apr 1862, Ashland, Hanover County, Virginia.

+4        iii.   Richard Phillip Hadaway, born 19 Sep 1839, Hall County, Georgia; married Susan Matilda Haynes, 27 Aug 1865, Cobb County, Georgia; died 21 Mar 1928, Cobb County, Georgia.

5         iv.   Henry Hadaway was born in 1840 in Georgia.

+6          v.   Malinda C. Hadaway, born abt 1841, Georgia.

William Hadaway and Malinda Wilson were married on 15 Jun 1843 in Hall County, Georgia.1314 Malinda Wilson15 was born on 5 Jun 1818 in South Carolina.1618 She died on 17 Mar 1902 at the age of 83 in Hiram, Paulding County, Georgia.1921 She was buried circa 18 Mar 1902 at County Line United Methodist Church Cemetery in Acworth, Cobb County, Georgia.22

William Hadaway and Malinda Wilson had the following children:

+8         ii.   Lucinda Jane Hadaway, born 22 Jun 1846, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia; married George Washington Canant, 30 Nov 1865, Cobb County, Georgia; died 20 Aug 1894, Texarkana, Miller County, Arkansas.

+9        iii.   William Henry Hadaway, born 7 Sep 1850, Georgia; married Dorthy Jane Day, 8 Nov 1873, Cobb County, Georgia; died 4 Aug 1930, Cobb County, Georgia.

+10         iv.   Elizabeth R. Hadaway, born 17 Jul 1854, Cobb County, Georgia; married Thomas F. Terry, 8 Nov 1873, Cobb County, Georgia; died 7 May 1936, Cobb County, Georgia.

+11          v.   Mary C. Hadaway, born 17 Jun 1857, Georgia; married Richard Purser, 15 Dec 1877, Cobb   County, Georgia; died 29 Jan 1915.

+12         vi.   Ailey Hadaway, born Apr 1860, Georgia; married Guilford Byrd Light, 13 Dec 1883, Hall County, Georgia; married John H. Pierce, 19 Feb 1905, Hall County, Georgia.

13        vii.   Sarah F. Hadaway23 was born about 1861 in Georgia.24
